About the author

Amanda J Brown has been writing for pleasure for many years and has now turned her hand to writing her first collection of short stories which examines the relationships between individuals and how sometimes things are not what they seem.

She is currently writing a series of suspense thrillers set in 1980 in Vienna, the capital of Austria, and on the island of Krk in Croatia.

In 2019, Amanda published a non-fiction book, Homepreneur: How to Overcome the Challenges of Running a Home-Based Business, to help people follow their passion and work from home while maintaining their work-life balance. This is complemented by a free Marketing Guide.

Following a corporate career in the City, she works as a business consultant helping companies with effective online communications.

Amanda lives in Hertfordshire (the county of opportunity!) and enjoys singing in a choir, gardening and visiting the south of France.
